PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – This Saturday is your chance to help fight the opioid epidemic.
High on Hope Ministries is having its annual “High on Hope the Movement” event on May 4th from noon to 6 p.m. at City Park.
This year’s theme is freedom over addiction.
The event features speakers and resources for those impacted by the epidemic.
The goal is equip people with the tools to tackle the problem.
“I hope when they leave here that day, they have a lot more knowledge than when they came. Also if it’s someone that has family members that are struggling, I hope when they leave here they know that there is still hope for that person, they’re not lost there’s still purpose for them because if God can do it for people that you hear speak that day then he can do it for your family member,” said Tim Craft, the founder of High on Hope Ministries.
The event is free and open to the public.
