Pollution and dehydration make our lips chapped and dry. To avoid flaky and chapped lips, use these DIY scrubs at home. These lip scrubs are easy to make at home and hydrate and nourish the lips.
Due to stress and pollution, our lips tend to get dehydrated, and in spite of having litres of water, they don’t shine and end up looking dry and dull. Most of us tend to have dry and chapped skin as a result of our lifestyles and the choice of our lipsticks. Times like these, a lip balm doesn’t quite do the trick. We need to constantly moisturise and exfoliate our lips to make them supple and soft. And at times, lip balms don’t do the desired work, that’s when lip scrub comes into play.
Lip scrub, when used twice or thrice a week, helps to get rid of dead skin cells that accumulate on your lips. When your lips feel a bit rough, that’s when you know that you have to use the lip scrub. A lip scrub will exfoliate your lips most gently. It will help you to get rid of chapped lips and flaky skin. Applying lipstick after you have exfoliated your lips not only looks better, it also feels a lot nicer. A lip scrub is usually made using moisturising and exfoliating ingredients.
